CSIA is a global, not-for-profit, professional association for control system integration companies. Control System Integrators utilize industrial automation equipment and software in the implementation of their projects in a wide variety of industries. Our primary mission is to provide our member companies around the world with methods and opportunities to help them improve the operations of their businesses. We do this by:

Value Proposition: CSIA is committed to the development of the business capabilities of control system integration companies globally and their implementation of best practices in order to provide a healthy, low-risk channel for the application of automation technology to their industrial clients.



The Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) is in its second decade of helping better system integrators become better business people. Members gain the power of the association’s broader presence and its insights into the best business and project management practices for the automation and IT domains. CSIA is committed to the development of the business capabilities of control system integration companies and their implementation of best practices in order to provide a healthy, low-risk channel for the application of automation technology to their industrial clients.

The “typical” CSIA member company…

  • is an independent, value-added professional service organization (or an independent profit/loss division) that focuses on industrial control systems, manufacturing execution systems, and plant automation requiring application knowledge and technical expertise for sales, design, implementation, installation, commissioning, and support.

  • is a stand-alone business of which control integration is the greater portion of the business.
  • has an engaged top executive who wants his/her company to be the best in class and has the clout to take it there.
  • has had professional services (labor) revenues that have exceeded $600,000 for three years.
  • is considering or has achieved CSIA Certified status.
     

CSIA offers four types of membership:

Participating: Control system integrators with minimum revenue of $250K.


Associate: Control system integrators, worldwide, that meet the criteria for the “typical” CSIA member company described above.

Certified: A CSIA Associate member company that has passed an independent third-party audit of 76 criteria covering all aspects of business performance

Partner: Developers, manufacturers and providers of industrial automation and control hardware/software products and services
