ISA

The Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation Society – and CSIA signed a memorandum of cooperation in 2002 designed to spawn mutual efforts of the two organizations on projects that could range from conferences, exhibits, and workshops to publications, educational programs, and standards.

The agreement represents a proactive measure by the two organizations to leverage resources to –

Further the professional interests of instrumentation, systems, and automation professionals and related industries throughout the world;
Encourage the exchange and dissemination of technical, product, market, and other information; and
Promote understanding and cooperation between the members of ISA and CSIA.

Founded in 1945 as a nonprofit, educational organization, ISA today is a resource for 38,000 members and thousands of other professionals and practitioners in more than 110 countries around the world.

ISA fosters advancement in the theory, design, manufacture, and use of sensors, instruments, computers, and systems for measurement and control in a wide variety of applications.

CSIA Affiliations

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), with nearly 600 members, is one of the leading trade associations in the U.S. NEMA, in recognition of the growing significance of the control system integration industry, and CSIA established an affiliation between NEMA’s Industrial Automation Division and CSIA. NEMA provides support and guidance in procedural and administrative matters. Affiliation with NEMA provides CSIA members added prestige and recognition.
