Back to (Social Media) School

“If anyone tells you he is a social media expert, he's lying,” I overheard someone say at a recent professional group meeting.  Social media is simply too new to have experts.

I have friends on Facebook and contacts on LinkedIn.  I’ve created groups, blogged, friended, tweeted, posted documents, uploaded photos, added RSS feeds, liked, and commented.  And, every time I step into this new world, I feel anxious – and amazed.

If you want to learn more about using the Connected Community – another type of social media – please see the new resource library, Connected Community Nuts and Bolts.  You will find the “how to” e-mails you’ve received over the past six months.  Want to know how to select a profile photo?  Change your signature?  Make connections?  Find something in the library?  Create a community?  Check out the new library.

In the spirit of community, I invite you to add your own tips for using the CSIA Connected Community.  If you’ve learned something you want to share with others, please post it in this new library.

The next thing you know, you will be a social media expert!

See you online,

Ann
