Hello from the CSIA Board of Directors!

It has been a busy quarter, with lots of buzz after the wonderful annual Executive Conference in San Francisco! For those of you who were able to attend, it was a pleasure meeting many of you in person. And, I hope you found it very informative and were able to take some ideas home to better your business. What a great venue we had this year to hold the conference and you came out in record numbers! Thank you for your support in attending, and I hope you mark your calendars for next year now, so you can attend again in 2019. The dates are April 30 - May 3 in Asheville, North Carolina.

The board and Jose have been very busy. AMPED Association Management has been a vital part of our organization for 10 years now, but it has been decided that it is time for both AMPED and CSIA to make a change. We have appreciated very much the service AMPED has provided us and our members over the past decade, and we wish them the very best as they take on new clients. From CSIA’s perspective, Jose is leading the RFP process to bring on a new Association Management Company (AMC). Our target is to have them on board by August 1 and they will work alongside AMPED for the month of August, with the transition in operations to the new AMC complete by August 31. AMPED is continuing to lead operations with excellence during this transition period and we expect this to be a very smooth transition. The board is meeting weekly with Jose to ensure we are progressing on our time line. We will be interviewing prospective AMCs in mid-July, and will wrap up negotiations before the end of July.

As we work through this transition we are reaching out to our past board chairs and we have received many offers for help and support during this transition. We will be using a couple of them in the AMC selection process. We have also started reaching out to our valued partners to make sure they are comfortable with the transition and we are getting great support from them as well. Thank you to all those that have offered help so far and we will keep everyone in the loop as things progress.

One thing I promise you, as our valued members and partners, is that you will continue to be served with excellence throughout this transition. We look forward to new and better ways to add value to each of our member groups as we move forward. If you have question on this process or what this might mean to you, please feel free to reach out to Jose or any of the board members.
