We congratulate Kamati Ltda from Colombia for receiving the CSIA Certification. They are the fifth Certified company earning the distinction in the region. Congratulations, again!
Our partners and members continue to support our growth efforts in Latin America. On June 5th, we had our Q2 event sponsored by Bosch Rexroth, with an attendance of 24 people from 14 different integration companies. We had a great discussion panel led by Roberto de Hoyos and Ricardo Vázquez, Project Directors for Gersa and ECN, two of our Certified integrators in Mexico.
They made an interactive presentation on Project Management, involving the audience and sharing their own experiences. It proved to be a very productive and dynamic exchange. Thanks to Roberto, Ricardo and their companies for their support and great work. We also thank Bosch Rexroth for sponsoring the outstanding event and for inviting CSIA and our integrators to the Expo Pack packaging industry event in Mexico City later that day. At Expo Pack, we also met with A3 (The Association for Advancing Automation), who is developing their Mexican chapter. We have been collaborating with them in both Latin America and in the U.S. They extended an invitation to CSIA and our members to a fantastic reception in Mexico City later that week.
Endress Hauser (a prospect) invited us to attend Expo Electrica, a large automation industry event in Mexico City on June 6. We were able to meet with some of our members, including ECN and its CEO, Arturo Freydig, along with some prospects.
CSIA will attend two upcoming Rockwell Automation events in Mexico City and in Monterrey. We have been invited to have a discussion panel on Best Practices implementation. For this, we count on the support by leading integrators: Gersa, Cybermax, Tecnogam, Líder y Control, IDAAPPS and Ignacio Guerra from Deux (a consulting firm that has been helping some of our integrators prepare for their Certification).
We had seven LATAM companies attend our 2018 Executive Conference in San Francisco.
