Barry Anderson was the estimation manager for Australia's two largest privately owned SIs. Barry has been responsible for the successful redesign and improvement of multiple systems and processes.

He is still actively involved in business transformation projects and is a director of both training and auditing businesses.

Alan Carty has worked in automation since graduating with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1985. In 2000, he founded a company that evolved into two businesses: a Technical Recruiting and Staffing Firm focused on all automation related positions (Automationtechies); and an automation industry online magazine (Automation.com). In 2014, the International Society of Automation (ISA) acquired Automation.com.

Before starting Automationtechies/Automation.com, Alan worked for more than 11 years for a large independent Rockwell-Automation distributor, where he held positions including automation specialist, automation sales, and operations manager. Prior to that, Alan worked as a field engineer, plant engineer and systems programmer.

Co-founded Autoware (Italy) in 1996 and a recently started a new journey through the formation of Autoware Digital, a US based company focused on digitalization initiatives for industrial clients and incorporated in Austin, TX. Luigi became a member of the CSIA Board of Directors in 2017, serving as its Chair 2019-2021. He remains on the Board as the past chair. He is currently part of the MESA EMEA Board and Chair of the Special Interest Group Italy of MESA.

Cathy is a Principal of Capital Valuation Group, a firm that has specialized in valuing businesses for more than 45 years. Cathy has worked with business owners and advisors over her 28 year career to determine the value of an equity interest in a business, identify ways to increase value, prepare for transitioning out of ownership, resolve owner disputes (family and non-family) and define valuation provisions of buy/sell agreements that are unambiguous. Cathy earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has earned the Accredited Senior Analyst designation from the American Society of Appraisers. Cathy has testified in state and federal courts and writes and teaches nationally on topics relating to business value and serves, or has served, as a director on a number of for-profit and non-profit boards of directors.

John Dyck was appointed CEO of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) in June of 2018. CESMII is a public/private partnership committed to transforming the U.S. manufacturing market and increasing global competitiveness through the application of smart manufacturing technologies and workforce development, both in manufacturing operations and in the supply chain. John brings a highly pragmatic perspective to CESMII, and a crisp focus on outcomes that will benefit the nation’s energy and economic security.

 John is known globally as a domain expert on both technology and business management in the nexus that often separates IT from Operations, and for the past 10 years, he has been at the vanguard of how innovations like Cloud and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) impact manufacturing. He has pioneered the application of these technologies in a wide range of manufacturing industries and supply chains. John was recently awarded a number of patents for the application of IIoT and analytics in manufacturing workflows and business processes.

John was recognized by the Society of Manufacturing Engineering (SME) in 2020 as one of ‘30 Leaders Transforming Manufacturing in the USA.

Prior to joining CESMII, John held senior leadership positions in large corporations like GE and Rockwell Automation, and was effective in raising VC funding and building a successful software startup called Activplant.

John currently sits on the CyManII Board of Directors, and serves as the past Chairman of MESA International’s (Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association) Board of Directors. Mr. Dyck holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Conestoga College.

Gloria is the Program Manager for the CSIA Insurance Program.  She works with the team in London and other insurance carriers to insure that the program is the most responsive insurance product for the integration industry.  She consults for several large real estate development and management firms and industrial clients providing risk management oversight and brokerage services. 

Prior to joining ECBM Gloria worked for several large regional brokerage firms in Philadelphia. She became a specialist in the development of risk management and insurance programs for complex and large programs.

 Gloria attended Drexel University and has earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Marine Insurance Management designations from the Insurance Institute. She has worked with the American Institute and as an instructor for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia She also conducts seminars in Risk Financing and Casualty Insurance.

Jeff is Account Executive to the CSIA Insurance Program. He provides clients with coverage and contract reviews and handles renewal negotiations on their behalf.  Jeff also works with the team in London updating coverage forms and maintaining the CSIA program as the superior insurance policy.

Prior to joining ECBM, Jeff worked in various aspects of the legal and insurance industry.  He spent eight years as a civil litigator in the Denver metro area and maintain an active law license in the state of Colorado.  He also has experience in the claim department of an insurance agency.  His specific areas of interest are cyber insurance and security and professional liability insurance.

Jeff has his MBA with a Risk Management specialization at University of Colorado- Denver.  His specific areas of interest are cyber insurance and security and professional insurance.





  Colin Gray

Colin Gray is a Senior Business Analyst at ATS Global where his role is to understand the business drivers, gaps, and requirements from the diverse manufacturing marketplace and feed them into the platform’s continuous development for platform expansion and alignment. Colin has extensive industry knowledge, the result of working across manufacturing for nearly 40 years. He worked his way up from an engineer in tobacco, producing complex standardized solutions into manufacturing environments (green and brownfield), to a Smart Manufacturing manager in the aerospace industry, managing teams of engineers developing MES, SCADA and PLC applications. Colin brings a wealth of experience and a lighthearted aura to the ATS Global team.

Mike Gregor, CPA, CA is VP Finance at Grantek where he leads a team of Finance, IT and Quality professionals.  After articling with KPMG in both public and private markets, Mike joined Grantek in 2016 where he has served as Financial Controller and Director of Finance, prior to his current role.  With a passion for numbers, data, people and technology, Mike has found his home in the CSIA community.  Mike lives an hour outside Toronto where he spends his free time enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two toddlers.

A graduate in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, Karen Griffin, PE serves as Hargrove’s Controls + Automation Vice President and Managing Member Representative of Tormod, an Asset Life Cycle Management company. She leads a Team of 130 automation engineers and specialists who focus on digital transformation, implementing DCS/PLC process controls, robotics, industrial IT/OT system integration, cybersecurity, and safety-instrumented systems as well as panel fabrication. Karen has previously served in various automation roles such as Engineering Leader, Main Automation Contractor Program Sponsor, Senior Project Manager, and Controls + Automation Engineer for the refining, oil and gas, chemicals, and pulp and paper industry. She also served on the owner’s side as a senior process control engineer for a major pulp and paper manufacturer. Karen serves on the Board of Directors for the Hargrove Foundation, Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC), CSIA, and Red Cross South Alabama Chapter. She lives in the Mobile, Alabama area with her husband and three children.

Remco started working for EKB in the Netherlands more than 25 years ago as a software engineer. After being a project manager and head of the software department, Remco is Integration Manager for 15 years now. In that role he is responsible for Quality Assurance and he is the Change Manager for internal IT projects. Since 2009 he guided EKB through five CSIA certifications successfully. Remco is member of the CSIA BP&B committee since 2010.

Brig has leadership experience, designing and developing products, defining corporate standards, and architecting big data solutions from IoT to adaptive learning and modeling student knowledge. His love of learning enabled him to lead research projects, publish whitepapers, apply for patents, and become a frequent speaker at conferences. He enjoys sharing what he learns from wilderness survival skills to web development in a boot camp. When he's not programming or reading something new, you can find him on the slopes following his true passion for skiing.

Renato Leal is the founder and CEO of GreyLogix Brasil, a leading
system integrator in digital transformation for industries. Starting in a garage, GreyLogix Brasil kept growing consistently for more than a decade. Currently with almost 200 employees, the company was ranked by Deloitte as one of the Brazilian’s Top 100 fastest growing companies for two years in a row.

With 17 years of experience in the industrial automation field and having worked in Brazil and Germany, Renato helped developing a true international company with several projects being delivered in Central America, South America, North America, Europe and Asia.

Renato has two master of business administration degrees, with an emphasis in marketing and finance, as well as a bachelor degree in automation engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. He also took courses in corporate finance and innovation from Ohio University and UC Berkeley, respectively.


Walker Mattox

Walker is a recovering serial entrepreneur who finally found home as the founder of Gray Solutions, a Gray company, in 2018 and hasn’t looked back. As founder, he led the exponential growth of Gray Solutions from two Solutioneers to the 12th largest systems integrator as recognized by Control Engineering.

Walker’s experience consists of leading complex government healthcare IT projects, managing political and issue campaigns along with leading systems architecture for numerous consumer goods’ manufacturing projects, including Champion Petfoods’ award-winning DogStar Kitchens.

In 2021, he spearheaded the acquisition and subsequent merger that welcomed Stone Technologies to Gray Solutions which put him in the role of chief executive officer.

Gary Miller's first job out of college in 1977 was with a Sales Employment Agency and by luck, one of his first customers was Modicon.  Over the next three years, Gary helped Gould Modicon hire over 3 dozen sales engineers. He purchased his firm in 1986, and continued to expand and influence careers and company growth in the automation and controls industry.

Tyler Redslob

Tyler Redslob’s career spans 25+ years in automation ranging from industrial automation to process automation.  Beginning his career with Phoenix Contact, he worked and lived in Southern California covering a wide range of industries after first starting in their US headquarters in Harrisburg, PA.  After a 5 year stay in Hotel California, he relocated back closer to home in Ohio first as District Sales Manager and then as Regional Sales Manager in the Great Lakes Region.  When Pepperl+Fuchs Process Automation Division acquired Bebco Industries Enclosure Protection Systems, he joined the organization in a Business Development role.  For 7 of his 10 years at P+F he led the sales organization as Vice President of Sales for the Process Automation Division.  In 2014 Tyler joined Pressco Technology as Director of Sales.  Pressco serves the food and beverage industries with high-speed vision inspection systems.  In 2015 Phoenix Contact invited him back and he now leads the Process Industry/Process Automation vertical market segment of the Industry Management and Automation Business Area as a Vertical Market Manager.  As a vertical market manager, he is responsible for a national network of representatives as well as works with the R&D team and marketing for direction for Phoenix’s vast product offering to ensure the products meet the needs of the process industries. 

Tyler has an International Business Degree from Grove City College in Grove City, PA and an MBA from Kent State University in Kent, OH.  He complemented his business degrees with numerous electrical and automation courses throughout his career.  Tyler and his wife of 30+ years are most proud of their two grown sons both of whom achieved Eagle Scout ranks in the Boy Scouts of America.

Stan is currently the Vice President of Life Sciences for E tech group. Stan has over 17 years of experience with E Tech Group, where he served in various roles including Director of Operations for Banks Integration, an E Tech Group Company focusing in Automation for Life Sciences. Stan grew up in the South of France and has an Engineering Degree from the école nationale supérieure d'electricité et de mécanique. Before joining Banks Integration, Stan was working at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique - a large shipyard in France designing Automation Systems for Cruise Ships for Princess, Royal Caribbean and Cunard.

Mary Riedel

Mary Riedel has been an integral member of the MartinCSI team for the last 21 years. She spent most of her tenure as an engineer and project manager. Mary then moved into sales and currently splits her time between sales, operations, and finance. Mary has a passion for making sure MartinCSI is involved in continued education, training, and the development of industry standard best practices. Her involvement in managing the company’s CSIA audit preparation and certification reviews, as well as being President of the Columbus Ohio Section of the International Society of Automation, helps to keep MartinCSI current and compliant with industry standards. Mary currently resides in Plain City, Ohio with her husband and children. She likes to spend her time trail running, reading, and volunteering with the Arthritis Foundation as a committee chairperson.

John Sullivan is a Project Director with DMC, Inc. He started at DMC after graduating from Rose-Hulman 12 years ago when the company was only 23 people. John has worked on a wide variety of industries and customers, successfully completing projects for over 350 customers in his 12 years. In 2014, John relocated to Denver to open and lead DMC's second regional office.

John has been influential in company growth, recruiting, and company improvements as DMC grew from 23 to over 180 employees. This includes driving DMC's recently launched Leadership Development Program. 

Additionally, John has recently taken on the chair of the CSIA Emerging Leaders Committee, where he and many other CSIA members are focused on creating and growing the next generation of Leaders.

Tony serves as the Director of Engineering of EOSYS with responsibility for project delivery oversight, employee performance, and career development. Tony also represents the engineering team’s perspective in recruiting, best practices, and corporate planning and development. Tony joined EOSYS in 2009 as the Engineering Manager.

Tony has over 30 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in diverse, international industries with various industry leaders such as Oberg Manufacturing, Tyco Electronics, and Triumph Aerospace. Tony holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in International Business from Northcentral University. Tony is a certified project management professional, a certified MBTI practitioner and a U.S. Patent holder. He also serves as the current chair of CSIA’s Best Practice Committee.

Mark Voigtmann

Mark is the co-leader of the industrial automation, system integration and robotics practice at the law firm of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.  He frequently presents at the CSIA Executive Conference on legal issues confronting control system integrators.  Faegre Drinker is the provider of the CSIA Legal Plan.

Georgia Whalen is the founder and owner of Rivergate Marketing, a full-service digital marketing agency helping CSIA member system integration firms build strategic, data-driven marketing and PR programs. Georgia and her team are passionate about helping clients compete and be found in a crowded digital space. Rivergate Marketing’s team has a consistent track record of success in gaining industry recognition for clients, driving website traffic, increasing sales opportunities, and strengthening brand awareness. Georgia has served as co-chair of the CSIA Marketing Committee since 2016.

Mark has over 25 years of operational experience helping large and small high-tech companies increase revenue through direct and indirect channels.  Mark is one of the lead channel consultants for the IPED Consulting team, the IT channel consulting division of The Channel Company. He is currently part of The Channel Company’s IoT Advisory Board.  Prior to consulting, Mark spent 20 years in sales, marketing and operational executive leadership positions with IBM, Vignette, and BakBone software.  Mark earned his degree in computer science from UT-Austin and spent his early career as a software developer and project manager.

Mike Yost is a proven thought leader with 30+ years of industrial automation / industrial software experience on a national and global level. Mike has specialized in the Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution (MES), Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) and Operations Management software arenas since 1999. He co-founded Bennit Inc. in 2016 to address a market failure in the industrial services marketplace and leads commercial operations as CMO. He was a contributing expert to the development of the 2017 and 2019 World Manufacturing Forum Report - Skills for the Future of Manufacturing, is a founder of the Industry 4.0 Club on Clubhouse, and the creator of the ‘CESMII 6 Degrees of Smart Manufacturing’ webcast series. Mike lives in Cleveland, OH with his wife and 5 children.
