The energy and investment in digital transformation is a rational response to digital economies that present new and very real opportunities. Digital transformation is mission critical for industrial organizations’ health and viability. New business processes, services and models are being pursued. Yet, mistakes, false starts and dead-end investments were all too common, particularly prior to the 2020 pandemic.
Once the pandemic hit, digital transformation was thrust into the forefront out of sheer necessity — innovation became a matter of survival in many instances. As industrial organizations were forced to quickly innovate, fragile pilots collapsed, replaced by more pragmatic projects focused on operational resiliency and market agility. Yet, as markets have stabilized, digital transformation hasn’t slowed down. In fact, investment in digital transformation continues to accelerate, and the implications of this continued change on industrial markets is profound.
In this CSIA Keynote Presentation, ARC Advisory Group Analyst and Vice President Michael Guilfoyle will discuss the growth of digital transformation projects and their impact on the present and future of work, resiliency and business agility. He’ll touch on topics such as changes in work, the importance of identifying and maximizing expertise and transparency in the solution provider ecosystem. He’ll outline how system integrators should consider the new working environment and what challenges and opportunities it presents.
