The CSIA Legal Plan during these uncertain times

It has been impossible to listen to the news of the last few weeks and be unaffected — as many ordinary things we have long taken for granted have changed so quickly. But some things have not changed: the automation lawyers of the law firm of Faegre Drinker continue to be ready to help CSIA members through the benefits available under the CSIA Legal Plan.

If the name sounds a bit different, it is. Faegre Drinker is the result of the recent merger between Faegre Baker Daniels LLP (which has served as general counsel to the CSIA for more than a decade) and Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. The firm now has over 1,300 attorneys, consultants and professionals in 22 locations around the United States, United Kingdom and China.

More resources available now

We also are using the opportunity to double down on the resources available to CSIA members.

In addition to Mark Voigtmann and Brian Clifford — who many of you have worked with for years— we have added Molly Buscher and Janeia Brounson.

The four of us will continue to provide the following valuable benefits (among others) through the CSIA Legal Plan:

  • Updating your company’s standard contract or terms and conditions either free of charge (for certified members) or at a small flat fee (for non-certified members); and
  • Revisions to customer-provided contracts, dispute resolution services and certain employment-related matters at a discount.

COVID-19 Task Force

We also have established a COVID-19 Task Force that is providing updated guidance, regulations and best practices related to this pandemic, including an online Resource Center.

Faegre Drinker is ready for this challenge and, with the CSIA, will stand by your side through whatever lies ahead.
