Nigel James was the Gulf Coast President of Mangan Inc. which has two offices – one in Lake Jackson and one in Houston. Mangan is a $39MM Employee Owned Company of over 300 controls specialist with seven offices across the country. The office grew over 200% in the past three years and has pioneered new ways to implement Safety Lifecycle Management simpler and more cost effective.
He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin in 1986. Nigel worked in the refinery industry for 8 years with Fina – three years overseas in England.
He went into the Automation Consulting business in 1995. He founded his own firm James Consulting Co. in 1999 that was bought and merged into Mangan Inc. in 2002. He served as President of Mangan from 2005 – 2006 and the President of the Gulf Coast Division 2006 - 2012.
