Sam Hoff started Patti Engineering out of his home in 1991. Under his leadership, Patti Engineering has expanded the business to over $6 million dollars per year with 25 degreed electrical and professional engineers on staff. Patti Engineering’s head quarters are located in Auburn Hills, Michigan in a personally-owned 13,000 square foot building. In addition, Patti Engineering has opened offices in the Boston, MA and Austin, TX areas. Patti Engineering has developed and implemented several innovative control systems that have been used for garment distribution, automated painting, waste water, energy, security amongst other applications.
Sam also holds the role of President and Founder at LEID Products, a manufacturing leader of electronic locker and weapon storage using BACS (Biometric Asset Control System). LEID has had successes in the Law Enforcement, Federal, Library, and Medical Markets.
Sam currently serves on several boards and committees including Kettering University Electrical Engineering Department and the Controls Systems Integrators Association. Sam is a past-president of the Clarkston Rotary Club and Presently President of the Michigan Epsilon Housing Corporation for Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
