LATAM Update

By Carolina Casas Anzola

With a series of meetings held on July 22, 23 and 24, the LATAM team, along with CSIA CEO José Rivera in Mexico City, strengthened ties and refined strategies with our vendor partners and integrators.

The opportunity was also very useful for the consolidation of the team, including Administrative Assistant Cynthia Ramírez, that will be spearheading the design and execution of strategies set by the organization in the coming months.

The first visit on the agenda, prepared with excellent work by Cynthia was in the offices of our Vendor Partner Schneider Electric. Here, we met with Miguel Valenzuela and Nadia Sarur and made plans for the upcoming months, along with strategic alliances.

The new LATAM Director, Carolina Casas, was then officially presented to Administrative Assistant Cynthia Ramírez, the new Latam Director. Carolina who, in addition to having professional experience and a profile that meets CSIA's expectations, is an important asset in executing new growth projects that the association has planned.

For starters, we met with Jorge Mendoza, IDAAPPS representative, who received us in his offices and shared his experience as a member of the CSIA. He told us about his experience at the 2019 Executive Conference in Asheville, North Carolina, and showed his enthusiasm for attending the 2020 Executive Conference next year in New Orleans. Between Chiles de Nogada and other traditional delicacies of Mexican cuisine, a happy and enriching day was spent.

The week also included a visit with our Vendor Partner Siemens, represented by Norma Almanza, with whom we shared an excellent afternoon learning about their experiences and coordinating upcoming events.

On our last day, at Rockwell Automation, we were received by Miguel A. López Conde and Luis Ángel Carrillo, where we discussed new and ambitious projects that were scheduled for execution in 2019 and 2020.

And at the end of the day, the work team shared visions with Leader Control and Automation, Ernesto López, who illustrated with great detail his experience and shared his testimony of growth thanks to the linking of his company with CSIA. This time, with a typical menu: escamoles (ant eggs), maguey worms (pictured) and grilled crickets, pre-Hispanic dishes.

With these experiences, fraternity and growth, CSIA will strengthen ties with its strategic partners throughout the Mexican territory, and of course, with the other members of this family throughout Latin America.
