Exploring Cowtown - Fort Worth
Friday, April 19 | 12:30 p.m.
$195 per person

Travel back in time to the Fort Worth Stockyards, once the second largest livestock market in the U.S. and now a major entertainment center. The historic Stockyards exemplifies the days of the Old West with lively western saloons, quaint shops and delicious restaurants. Cowtown Coliseum, home to the first indoor rodeo, as well as Stockyards Station, a train station containing distinctive Texas shops are two favorite sights in the district.

Guests are given free time for shopping in the Stockyards area. They also have the chance to see the only daily cattle drive around. Texas Longhorns are driven from one end of the Stockyards to the other, where people can view them for the rest of the day at the Livestock Exchange building.  This is an exciting opportunity to see the unofficial mascot of Texas up close. In addition, the group takes a quick look inside Billy Bob's Texas, the world’s largest honky-tonk.

Spend a day getting to know “Where the West Begins”!
