CSIA Annual Executive Conference 2022

By Carolina Casas Anzola

And the big day arrived, as a result of the effort, resilience and above all the great participation of our members and sponsors, it was possible to see each other again, to return to the 2022 CSIA Executive Conference in Denver.

When the date of this conference was confirmed, the desire for a reunion was expressed to get together again and to see each other; but beyond those wishes was the desire to start over. Without a doubt, I can tell you that the 2022 conference has been the fresh start and kickoff of new opportunities that all of our members will seize into the future. From now on, the whole CSIA team will take a new impulse, that together with the sponsors and members, we will be able to consolidate many business successes again.

With the participation of more than 15 countries, including participants from Latin America such as Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, and more than 500 participants, the conference began. The expectations were enormous, without a doubt our speakers were aware of this responsibility, and thanks to their great experience and undeniable professional success,  each one of those expectations was met during each of the days of the event.

We start with the Best Practices Workshop, going through the topics related to the future of work and of course our Townhall Business Meeting. And at this point I want to give a special thanks to each of the people who participated to make this happen, people who perhaps could not be there but remotely managed to make everything go as it should be.

The networking activities were another great success that covered many of the expectations our members had, from members starting a business relationship to members establishing or consolidating their relationship with suppliers. And this is what these events are about, to strengthen ourselves as a successful business group.

And not everything was work and business, we also had a lot of fun, we had many activities prepared for our members which managed to form a bond of friendship between them, for example, getting  together in a major league baseball game, and I consider that as a great achievement on a personal level for each of our members.

For all the participating members, it has undoubtedly been a great event, especially for the members of Latin America, whose business situation has been hit a little harder than in other parts of the world, it was a great step to begin this new world stage. We are witnesses and active participants of all the opportunities that this event provided, since from the first day of the event we were able to start or consolidate business relationships.

Personally, I feel very fortunate to be part of this great family, which after a little more than two years of overcoming a global economic slowdown, of surviving in some cases, we were always together. Fortunate to be part of this great group that showed that adversity can be overcome if we stick together and support each other when it is most needed to stay on track for success.

I know that soon we will see each other again at new events, and while that happens, the entire CSIA team, and especially the Latin American team, will continue to strive to make this new beginning a great success for each of you.
